It Takes A Community to Launch an Entrpreneur

Thanks to generous support from BARCLAYS, the LAUNCHER program was established to help start-up and young micro-businesses obtain business training, financing and other support within their own communities. 

Since 1883, West End Neighborhood House (West End) has provided assistance to help customers achieve self-sufficiency through outcomes-driven programming and utilizing innovative solutions to resolve complex social challenges.

Cornerstone West CDC is a community development corporation (under the West End umbrella) that promotes the revitalization of Wilmington's West Side neighborhoods through building affordable housing and strengthening small businesses.

The Delaware Financial Literacy Institute's (Home of The Money School) mission is to help individuals, especially those of low to moderate income, become equipped with the tools to get their financial lives in order so that they can become self-sufficient.

Founded in 1975, The Claymont Community Center is a unique source of health and human services for individuals and families of all ages throughout northern New Castle County. Last year over 5000 clients were served through the 14 tenant agencies located at the CCC.

NCALL has been in business serving the Delmarva Peninsula since 1976. NCALL is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dover, Delaware, that specializes in affordable housing development, education and lending.
